OriGen O-Wrap overwrap bags are a safe, economical way to protect other bags and products used for cryopreservation. The O-Wrap bag is made of EVO copolymer, developed specifically for direct immersion in liquid nitrogen, and combines tough, low-temperature durability with excellent clarity, flexibility, impact and puncture resistance.

O-Wrap overwrap bags are sized for use with CryoStore Freezing Bags, but may be used with any other freezing bags.

Advantages of the O-Wrap

• Easily sealed with standard RF or inexpensive impulse heat seal equipment
• Greater than 90% optical transmission, making inspection of the contents easy, even when frozen
• Labels, aliquots, samples, and other materials can be placed inside the O-Wrap prior to cryopreservation, allowing them to remain with the bag throughout the freezing and thawing cycles. A two-pocket O-Wrap is also available to ease further the storage of labels etc.
